Tea Art Performance

In December 2019, the United Nations General Assembly designated May 21 as International Tea Day to praise the economic, social and cultural value of tea. It is the first international day initiated by tea production countries led by China in the agricultural field. May 21 in 2020 witnessed the first International Tea Day. The scenes of drinking, producing and tasting tea are common in major diplomatic activities in recent years. Diaoyutai has attached great importance to tea culture training since 2009, and developed a distinctive tea art performance that has played an important role in diplomatic activities. President Xi Jinping often discussed future with heads of other countries through tea breaks.
